Founded Erik Peterson Communications, Inc. after leaving FTI in 1994. Erik provided communications consulting services to Fortune 500 companies in the production of digital interactive media (CD-ROM and web-based communications). Erik Peterson Communications, Inc. was dissolved Elumin, Inc was founded in 1997.

1992 – 1994 (2 years)

Helped open the Chicago FTI office at 333 W. Wacker Drive with 6 other FTI staff. Primary duties included developing storyboards and animations for major litigation cases throughout the nation.

Hired to provide a design service within the Arthur Andersen Litigation Services group. Primary duties included working with AA partners in procuring additional business, providing storyboards and visual support for use in major litigation cases throughout the nation, and promoting the services within the Arthur Andersen network. This work led to the formation of a strategic alliance with Forensic Technologies International (FTI), and the opening of the FTI office in downtown Chicago.
